　　 楊默, 血液學博士,香港特區政府南區議員,香港科學工作者協會主席,香港大學職員協會副主席,香港大學醫學院助理教授。 並擔任汕頭大學第一醫院客座教授, 廣東醫學院客席教授,鄭州大學醫學院榮譽教授,暨南大學兼職研究生導師，中國實驗血液學專業委員會香港委員。1997年在澳大利亞新南威爾士大學獲血液學博士學位（PhD），主要研究領域包括：1）巨核細胞/血小板造血的細胞及分子機理； 2）幹細胞和生長因子在修復心腦損傷的作用。並在Cancer Research、Stem Cells、、Circulation和Leukemia等國際期刊發表发表數十篇研究論。
